To be honest, I feel a bit silly posting here since I’m not someone who’s proud of their weight or flaunts it. I’m fat. I’ve been fat since I was a toddler and now at 21, I’m still fat. But this is me last year with my very first cosplay at my very first con and I have to say it was one of the greatest experiences for me. Despite being in pants and boots, I felt more gorgeous than I did at any sort of high school dance or event. Having someone call me “Ukraine” and want a hug from me or actually want to take my picture is something that still brings a lump to my throat. My biggest cosplay dream right now is just to have a proper photoshoot somewhere and I know there’s still going to be people who call me out for being “ugly” and “fat” if they ever see the pictures published somewhere, but it’s something that would make ME happy and make ME feel beautiful.
…well my biggest dream is a traditional Ukraine photoshoot to appease my Ukrainophilia, but still. ;u;
